DESIGN DIALOGUES 09
Design Dialogues this term was full of useful insights. Most interesting to me was the moments in which the speaker would reveal a part of their methodology. Some of these insights caused me to think of additional principles and practices of designers in general. From these thoughts, I created the "Phases of Intellect for Designers," a diagram that I feel describes the intellectual development of a designer may experience over a lifetime of practice. This diagram, and some of the following insights, has helped me comprehend where I am as a designer now and where I should focus in order to continually advance my thinking.
